Mina Rosner Human Rights Award: Recent Winners

2023 Mina Rosner Human Rights Award Winner:    Sarah Froese

Sarah Froese, a student at Westwood Collegiate, is our 2023 award recipient. Her essay,  “Fight for Humanity: The Impact of the 1947 Nuremberg Code on Medical Ethics,” examines the influence of the Nuremberg Code in the world of medical ethics and the ways it has enforced the protection of human rights.

2022 Mina Rosner Human Rights Award Winner:  Jasper Bain

Jasper,  a student at Westwood Collegiate, is our 2022 award recipient, with her  essay: “The Closed Door to Canada: An Investigation of the Antisemitism Behind the Canadian Government’s Immigration Policy for Jews from 1933 to 1939.”

2021 Mina Rosner Human Rights Award Winner: Nathan Varghese

Nathan, a student at Westwood Collegiate, is our 20201 award recipient, with his essay:

“Hashtag Hate: The Rise of Social Media Antisemitism in the 21st Century

 

2020 Mina Rosner Human Rights Award Winner:                        Rosemund Ragetli

Rose, a student at Westwood Collegiate, is our 2020 award recipient, with her essay, “The Silence of History.”

2019 Mina Rosner Human Rights Award Winner: Blake Edwards
