Join us when Rabbi Yossi Benarroch (Vaad Ha’ir), Valerie Burachynsky (Simkin Centre), Barb Reiss (Desserts Plus), and Maxine Shuster (Schmoozer’s Cafe) discuss their work providing food for the Jewish community. Our guests have been in the industry for many years, and will discuss their experiences as chefs, caterers, restaurant owners, in health-care, and in the supervision of kashrut. They’ll talk about their backgrounds, the challenges and joys of their work, their interests in food and cuisine, and how they see their work as a facet of the community. A dessert reception will follow.
